Last week I talked about enjoying adventure for free. This week I have some ideas for some low cost adventures that can make your life a lot more fun.
Revisiting Some Options
Some of the free things you can do include visiting one of the 10,000 state and national parks in the US. Many of them have access and activities for free.
But some of them also have low cost activities and admission. Most people don’t realize the vast array of activities that these parks have like canoeing, camping, rock climbing, guided tours, and more. With an average of 200 parks per state, low cost activities are near you.

Improve Your Home
In my post on adventures for free, I gave you ideas for improving your world. There are also low cost adventures you can have to improve your home.
For instance you can paint a room, redecorate a room, or you can get really adventurous and create a post it note mural. All of these can easily be done for under 100 dollars.
You can also plant a garden in your backyard and grow all kinds of healthy and tasty foods that you can enjoy in your own mouthwatering dishes. Not only is it a low cost adventure to enjoy your own garden, the adventure continues as you try new dishes that save you money in the process.
Improve Yourself
You can also improve yourself for just a few dollars. You can buy books on self improvement to learn things you’ve always wanted to learn. You can sign up for learning courses that will teach you everything from sports to writing code.
You can grab apps like Rocksmith or Yousician to improve your musical skills for a one time fee or a few dollars a month.
There is no greater adventure than improving yourself. As Oprah Winfrey said “the greatest adventure you can ever take is to live the life of your dreams.”
Now go and find where your adventure will take you.
